Hogan Assessments

Hogan Assessments is one of the hallmark assessments currently recommended and used at C-suite,  Senior Executives and Board Level leaders or people of critical importance to the organisation.

Complexity and inter-relatedness of aspects within the Hogan report needs interpretation by a Hogan-trained Practitioner and Coach. The validity of this assessment is very high as it is embedded in strong scientific data evidence and continues to strengthen its accuracy to this day.

The Assessment identifies the complete behavioural profile of an individual in three sections.

1. HDS (Hogan Development Survey)

2. HPI (Hogan Personality Inventory)

3. MVPI (Motivations, Values and Preferences Inventory)

There is an additional Inventory called Hogan Judgement but the deployment of this is best recommended by a trained practitioner.

What do each of these mean?

Hogan Development Survey (HDS) highlights the dark side of personality – features that emerge in times of increased strain and that can damage relationship, reputations and derail performance and organisations By assessing the dark-side of personality, you can identify and deal with performance risks before they become a real problem.

Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI) identifies elements of normal or ‘bright-side’ personality – how we behave and relate to others when we are at our best.  Whether used for recruitment or development, the Hogan Personality Inventory helps identify how people work, lead and helps predict future success.

The Motives, Values and Preferences Inventory (MVPI) measures personality from the inside: core goals, drivers, interests and values. The MVPI provides insights regarding person-organisation cultural fit, drivers of motivation and engagement, unconscious biases and leadership-styles.

Sounds complex?

The assessment takes 15 to 20 minutes and the questions are neither invasive nor intrusive and are without adverse impact.

Is this for me or my leaders?

Whether for organisational assessment, executive development or individual behavioural challenges, the Hogan Assessment can help to identify the factors that differentiate personalities and help predict career success.
